Well, how did that happen?  Two years and more gone by without a post.  For those of you who have continued to check in, and there appear to be at least 70 of you, thank you so much for keeping the faith. 

As the last post mentioned my knee replacement operation I assure you that I am OK, although I am in hospital on Monday 12 Jan for a second knee replacement, left leg this time.

My apologies to all regular readers – a lot of things intervened, including illness of family, fortunately now all is much better.  In the long recuperation following my op, I just found it hard to write and, to a degree, got out of the habit.

So much has happened since August 2023 of course, much of it bad.  We have to hold on to hope and value those things that can provide some.  More on this soon.
